Trolleybuses out of service with car no. 039
The photos shows the articulated trolleybus no. 039 of the Austrian type ÖAF Gräf & Stift NGE 152 M17 on the line 861 at the Neue Straße 100 m before the final bus stop Nordend.
In the afternoon of the 11 November 2008, approx. 12:30 clock, it came directly on the Heegermühler Straße in direction to Finow behind the second entry of the Kranbau Eberswalde (crane manufacturer) to a heavy traffic accident with trolleybus participation.
The photos shows the articulated trolleybus no. 039 in the workshop hall of the Barnimer Busgesellschaft mbH on 12 November 2008.
As a result of the extensive damages the articulated trolleybus no. 039 of the Austrian type ÖAF Gräf & Stift NGE 152 M17 were temporarily parked on the 15 November 2008. After 14 years and 4 months operating time the articulated trolleybus no. 039 as the first of its series was officially scrapped on 01 May 2009 by the Barnimer Busgesellschaft mbH.
