Trolleybus no. 004

The photos show the articulated trolleybus no. 004 of the Austrian type ÖAF Gräf & Stift NGE 152 M17 on the line 862 at the terminal stop Ostend.
And these were the predecessors of the today's trolleybus no. 004.
The photo shows the trolleybuses no. 05I, 04I and 03I of the German type MPE 1 at the terrain of the company Fahrzeugbau Schumann Ltd. Werdau/Germany on 16 October 1940.
The trolleybus no. 04I was damaged by World War II on 25 April 1945. On 27 April 1950 trolleybus no. 04I renamed in no. 01II was taken again in service after reconstruction by the Eberswalde public utility. The trolleybus no. 01II former no. 04 I was in use as only trolleybus of the origin series to at the beginning of 1959.

The trolleybus no. 04III of the GDR-type LOWA W 602a was sent in 1959 to Berlin and had there the car no. 1547. The trolleybus was in service until 1971.

The next photo shows the articulated trolleybus no. 04V of the Hungarian type Ikarus 280.93 on the Eisenbahnstraße. The trolleybus was scrapped on 30 September 1993.
